The Care Act
From April 2015 care and support in England is changing for the better. Wellbeing is the main principle of the Act. Any decisions about a person's care and support will consider their wellbeing and what is important to them and their family.
The new Care Act will help make care and support the same wherever you are in the country. It aims to prevent and delay the need for care and support. The new national changes have been made to put people in control of the help they get. Some changes will happen in April 2015 and others in 2016.
